The legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam celebrates his 73rd birthday today, and has been receiving wishes from all over the world from his numerous fans. The magical singer has been charming audience with his voice for more than five decades and is still active in films, singing superhit songs for top stars.

On eve of his birthday, the singer has announced the SP Balasubrahmanyam's National award which he has been awarding every year on his birthday since 2017, and this year, he has announced that he will be felicitating popular actor Chandramohan, and social activist Aabid Surti from Mumbai, a poet and painter who's now into water conservation with his Drop Dead project.

SPB had released a video today, thanking all his fans for the beautiful wishes, and announced the awards, saying that he'll continue to entertain with his voice as long as he can. In 2017 he had felicitated Smt Rao Balasaraswati, the first female playback singer from India, and in 2018 he had felicitated singer S Janaki.
