Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam had been admitted in MGM hospital Chennai since August 5, after he had tested positive for Coronavirus infection, and had updated the same via a video message.

Yesterday, it was announced that the health condition of the veteran singer had deteriorated since Thursday night and that he's on ventilator support. Now, his son and singer SP Charan has updated on his health.

SP Charan has posted a video message where he says that SPB was incubated and put on ventilator yesterday morning and that he had been receiving too many calls and messages enquiring on his health and apologised for not being able to answer them. Charan said that while doctors say he's still critical, he's stable and is responding well to the ventilator. His lungs are functioning better than yesterday and doctors are confident he'll come through, it's a time consuming process and can't be updated daily, he's recovering slowly thanks to all your prayers which have helped, please keep praying and we're grateful for the prayers, said Charan in the video.
