Boundaries are becoming invisible... Gone are the days when different film industries were confined to their respective set of actors. While we have seen actresses crossing language borders to help filmmakers experiment, there have been some unseen threads holding heroes to dwell within the regions of their stardom. But not at more...

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have proved to be pillars of inspirations - the south screen icons who have spread their wings of success and star status to big wild world of Bollywood as well.

Not limited to Tamil alone, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam stars these days have come up to take up films in North... At a time when Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh showcased their power packed action in Bollywood, after quite some time Bollywood has welcomed the young generation stars namely Rana Daggubati, Sudeep, Ram Charan... From God’s Own Country Mohanlal has been giving Hindi audience refined acting in supporting roles, now his junior colleague Prithviraj is being counted in lead cast.

But... nothing like the success stories written by the superstars Rajini or Kamal. While Rajini made B-town people enjoy his typical style and hard-to-believe actions, Kamal treated them with some remarkable stories laced with a classy performances. Although today few Tamil actors - Suriya, Vikram, Siddharth, R.Madhavan (who did exceptionally well than the rest) - have made their presence felt in Bollywood, they are yet to create the magnificent image made by these two iconic actors....

And now, Bollywood with open hands has received the "Kolaveri" sensation Dhanush, who will be making his Bollywood debut with Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’. While the Tamil star is keeping his fingers crossed since he has been non-Hindi speaking actor; what makes him all the more nervous is that being son in law of Rajini, Dhanush hopes his first Bollywood flight takes off well.

With their respective debut Hindi films - Rajini’s Andha Kanoon and Kamal’s ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’ - both these legendary stars delivered hit and struck instant chord with Hindi audience.

Now with ‘Raanjhana’ hitting screens tomorrow (21st June), only the film’s release will tell the results - whether Dhanush will take forward the success story written by his seniors. Will he be able to deliver hit with his first Hindi film like Rajini and Kamal?
