The latest buzz is that the happening south actress Krithi Shetty is likely to play an important role in Suriya-Bala's movie. The young heroine has previously acted alongside some powerful actors in Telugu films: Uppena opposite Vijay Sethupathi, Shyam Singha Roy opposite Nani and Bangarraju opposite Naga Chaitanya. An official confirmation is awaited in this regard.
This outing marks the reunion of Suriya and Bala after 20 years as Bala's 'Nandha' served as a breakthrough in Suriya's career. Jyothika is finalised as the other female lead. The film's shooting is planned to kickstart in Rameshwaram next month and will go on for 3-4 months. GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring music for this ambitious project.
It is also being reported that Suriya will start shooting immediately for Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivasal' once he completes shooting for his portions in Bala's movie. Trustable sources say that the test shoot of 'Vaadivasal' is set to happen soon and the regular shoot will commence from June/July month.
