23 year old actress faces five years in prison for underwater scene

Lee Yeol-eum a young South Korean actress is known for playing the lead in the blockbuster movie 'The King' and the series 'Monster'. She is currently hosting the reality show 'Law of the Jungle' and was shooting underwater at the Hat Chao Mai National Park in Thailand. She dove underwater and catching two giant clams had pulled them out of water and shouted I caught it!”. The episode was broadcast on June 30th and trouble began as the Thailand authorities have filed a case against the actress for handling the clams which were listed as endangered species.
Even though the television channel rendered an apology that they were not aware of the law of Thailand the police refused to drop the criminal case against Lee Yeol-eum. She faces a fine of 20,000 baht and five years imprisonment and it is said that the courts will decide about extraditing her from South Korea to jail her in Thai prisons.
