In an unexpected turn of events, South Korea has reported yesterday that close to 100 patients who were discharged after testing negative for Coronavirus and announced to have recovered from coronavirus had tested positive again for the infection.

This sudden and shocking development has created fears that might be getting re-infected with COVID-19. As announced by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 91 people were announced to have recovered from the virus have now tested positive.

As reported by KCDC the number of such cases has risen from 51 cases which were reported previously in this week. KCDC director Jeong Eun-kyeong announced that health investigators are testing and studying to find if the patients had been reactivated and not re-infected.
