Sourav Ganguly complains of chest pain, hospitalized again

Earlier this month, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Kolkata's Woodland Hospital after he complained of chest pain. Angioplasty was performed and he got discharged.

The news is that, about three weeks later, the legendary former cricketer has once again been admitted to a hospital after he complained of chest pain. He was taken to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata, reports said on Wednesday afternoon.

At the time of writing, an official statement by the hospital was awaited.

Ganguly was discharged from the hospital in the first week of January after he continued to be stable haemodynamically. At the hospital, under the supervision of a team of experts, he had received loading doses of dual anti-platelets and statin. He was recently in the news after the BCCI announced Rs 5 Cr as extra bonus to the Indian cricket team after the historic victory against Australia in Gabba.
