Soundarya wades into nepotism debate

'Nepotism rocks' versus 'Nepotism sucks' debate has been raging in the Mumbai film circles. If the former is supposedly represented by Karan Johar (of the 'Flag-bearer of nepotism' notoriety) and Sai Ali Khan (of the 'Genes' notoriety), the latter is led by Kangna Ranaut.

Soundarya, the daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth, had to chip in when asked about how far nepotism can take one in the film industry. "Ultimately, talent is the only thing that matters, no matter what family or background you come from. If you are not talented, people are not going to accept you," is her take on the matter.

Soundarya awaits the release of 'VIP-2' in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in the month of August.
