Superstar Rajinikanth's youngest daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth helmed the pathbreaking motion capture animation film 'Kochadaiyaan' starring her dad in the lead role. She recently became mother to her second son Veera Rajinikanth Vanangamudi.

Soundarya has posted a thanks note on Instagram sharing a pic of herself with husband Vishagan during her second pregnancy. She wrote "A late but a very heartfelt thank you post !!! @mommyshotsbyamrita thank you so much dear Amrita for capturing some of our most precious moments we had such a fun time shooting with you … @prakatwork .. and Prakriti thanks for the fab make up as always… you are the best !!!

The talented filmmaker added "And to my dearest friend and the most amazing @pallavi_85 (Pallavi Singh) thank you so much for styling Vishagan, Ved and me … so excited you are working on #Jailer too... lots of love to all of you and a big thank you again !!!!"

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music. The supporting cast includes Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Bigg Boss Saravanan and Aranthangi Nisha. Kannada Superstar Shivarajkumar, Tamannaah and Jai are also said to be in the cast. The film is expected to release in the first quarter of 2023.
