Dhanush's 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' has released today with positive reviews. The film is all set to get a huge opening due to tremendous pre-release buzz. Bollywood beauty Kajol has made a comeback in Tamil after 20 years.

This sequel to the 2014 blockbuster 'VIP' has been directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and the story has been written by Dhanush. Now Soundarya has confirmed that there are plans to make a third part to the 'VIP' franchise.

"We are already thinking of part 3. What kind of a story part 3 wiil be. I am sure D sir (Dhanush) has it in his mind. He has kind of mentioned it also earlier. This franchise, the VIP world has the potential to go on and on and on..."

So 'VIP' is gonna be the second franchise of films in Tamil cinema to have three parts after the 'Singam' series.
