Soundarya Rajinikanth in the morning posted a video of Superstar Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence and stated "Right now from Poes Garden ... our Thalaivar is off to start filming his next...MultipleRoles...One & OnlyThalaivar". It caused a misunderstanding in the press that she meant her dad would be playing multiple roles in the Karthik Subbaraj movie for which the shooting began today.

Soundarya Rajinikanth has clarified that "I meant in life not in the film regarding the movie Karthick Subbaraj will talk when it’s the right time !". Meanwhile the 'Kaala' fever has gripped the state and the world over with fans scrambling for tickets as the advance bookings in most theaters are showing houseful.
