For the past few days, it was being rumored that the biopic on Superstar Rajinikanth is on the cards and either Aishwarya Dhanush or Soudarya Ashwin or both will direct the same.

Now Soundarya in her interview to a leading English daily has confirmed that though the plan to make a film on the inspirational life story of the Superstar is on the cards for long, she will not be directing it whenever it happens. She also said it would not be apt to comment anything about the project now.

However, Soundarya who made her directorial debut with 'Kochadaiiyaan'- the first performance-capture flick, released in 2014 with her dear dad in the lead role, is ready with the script for her next feature film. This will be a romantic comedy. This will be a contemporary subject, unlike her debut flick.

Soundarya also confirmed that Dhanush is not playing the lead in this film as speculated in certain sections of media and the lead cast and crew members of this rom-com is yet to be finalized.
