Soundarya Rajinikanth has revealed that the 'Kaala' teaser release is extra special as today the 2nd of March happens to be Latha Rajinikanth's birthday and also the Holi festival is celebrated across the nation.  She has also shared special images with both her mom and dad posting "Holi with the one and only kaala superstar my dearest and dearest Appa"  

One more significance for the day is that director K.Balachander rechristened Sivaji Rao Gaekwad as Rajinikanth on Holi in 1975.
