Soubin Shahir's ‘Djinn’ gets a release date

It was recently, the teaser of Sidharth Bharathan's directorial 'Djinn' directed by Sidharth Bharathan was released online and had generated a huge buzz around the project. The makers of the movie have now announced that the movie will hit the theatres on May 13. Going by the teaser, the movie's will showcase Soubin Shahir’s character has a multiple personality disorder and the story revolves around a serious subject. The official teaser was launched by the young and talented Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan. Unveiling the teaser, the actor wrote, “Here is the official teaser of ‘Djinn’, starring my dearest machan Soubin Shahir, Santhy Balachandran and a host of other actors. Directed by Sidhu (Sidharth Bharathan), Produced by Straightline Cinemas. Written by Rajesh Gopinadhan Shot by Girish Gangadharan. Prashant Pillai has done the music and Deepu Joseph has done the edits.Wishing the entire team only the very best.”
Apart from Soubin Shahir, ‘Djinn’ also casts Shanthi Balachandran, Sharafudheen, Shine Tom Chacko, Sabumon, Leona Leeshoy, KPAC Lalitha, Jaffar Idukki, Nishanth Sagar and Gilu Joseph in major roles. The screenplay and the dialogues are written by Rajesh Gopinadhan. While the cinematographer is Gireesh Gangadharan and Deepu Joseph is the editor. Produced by Sudheer VK and Manu Valiyaveettil under the banner Straightline Cinemas, the movie's music is composed by Prashant Pillai.
