According to latest reports, actor Soubin Shahir will be playing the lead role in Ithihasa 2, the sequel of 2014 sleeper hit Ithihasa. Recently, on the third anniversary of the movie’s release, the makers announced its sequel by unveiling the title poster. While the first part had Shine Tom Chacko, Anusree and Balu Varghese in major roles, the makers are yet to make an official announcement on the cast of the second part. 

Soubin, the talented actor, is currently on a high after the smashing success of his debut directorial Parava. The actor is also part of several other upcoming projects. If the upcoming sequel materializes with Soubin in the lead role, it would definitely be a treat for all movie buffs. 

Like the first part, Ithihasa 2 also seems to revolve around 2 magical rings. Sources say that the movie will be a continuation of the first part. Binu S, who made his directorial debut with Ithihasa, is directing the sequel as well. Produced by Rajesh Augustine, Ithihasa 2 will have music by Gopi Sunder, while Sinoj Ayyappan and Bavan Sreekumar will be handling the cinematography and editing departments.
