It was earlier announced that actors Tovino Thomas and Soubin Shahir are teaming up for Muhsin Parari's directorial 'Thallumaala'. Reportedly, the movie was supposed to be bankrolled by celeb couple Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal under their home banner OPM Pictures.

But the latest that we hear is the movie has been dropped. Reportedly, Aashiq Usman has taken up the project, which will be helmed by 'Unda' movie fame Khalid Rahman. As per the latest update, Tovino Thomas is still part of the project but Soubin Shahir has opted out. The actor has been replaced by Sharafudheen. Muhsin Parari, who was initially supposed to helm the project, is still associated with the film. Muhsin will be penning the screenplay along with Ashraf Hamza.

The technical crew for this flick will comprise Jamshi Khalid for cinematography, Rex Vijayan and Shahabaz Aman for composing the soundtrack and Sushin Shyam for the background score, Vishnu Govind-Sree Sankar for sound designing and Noufal Abdullah for editing. The movie will go on floors soon!
