Sophie Turner is following the summer spirit, and her most recent social media entries bear evidence.

Turner, 28, posted two sun emojis on an Instagram post headlined "Sun, sex, and suspicious parents," on July 1. The post included multiple images of the Game of Thrones star spending time with pals and catching events from Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Turner has earlier said that Swift had a major impact on her life.

Turner's new boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson, did not show up in the pictures even though she tagged him in the last picture, which showed her grinning at a picnic. Though she mentioned "sex." Following her and her estranged husband, Joe Jonas, announcing their divorce in October 2023, Turner and Pearson, 29, were initially linked romantically in that month. In January they formally announced their romance on Instagram.

Their four-year marriage came apart in September 2023 when news of Jonas seeking divorce from Turner leaked. The former couple issued a joint statement about their amicable breakup decision.

Turner accused Jonas of unlawfully holding their kids, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 23 months, in New York City, which set off a bitter custody dispute soon after. Jonas refuted the allegation; in October 2023 they came to a temporary custody agreement. British Vogue revealed in May that the lawsuit was withdrawn in January.

Turner came under criticism over her parenting during the separation. She said in her May British Vogue cover story the toughest days of her life were during the months following the divorce announcement. She acknowledged feeling overwhelmed but discovered strength in advocating for her girls.

Jonas submitted fresh court documentation in May to keep Turner under mediation. Us Weekly verified on May 17 that they are aiming for a friendly settlement.
