Chiyaan Vikram's new movie teaser released without his knowledge ?

Chiyaan Vikram one of the highest rated actors in pan Indian cinema is currently listening to scripts and will make an announcement soon regarding his next project. In the meantime a teaser of a new film 'Sooryaputhran Karnan' has been released which contains shots of Chiyaan Vikram in the title role.
Chiyaan fans online are claiming that the teaser was released without the knowledge or permission from the National Award winning actor. The footage is from 'Mahaveer Karna' that was announced in 2018 was planned to be made in 32 languages with a budget of 300 crore rupees. Vikram shot for a few sequences but opted out due to undisclosed reasons.
Director R.S. Vimal a couple of days back took to social media to announce that 'Sooryaputhran Karnan' is rolling soon and has released the controversial teaser on Sunday.
It is said that the teaser of Siyan Vikram's next film has been released and this teaser has been released without Vikram's knowledge.
The film 'Mahaveer Karna' starring Vikram and directed by RS Vimal was launched in 2018. It was also reported that the film was dropped after a few days of shooting.It is noteworthy that writer Jayamohan has written the story of this film directed by RS Vimal. Will this movie be rebooted? Will Chiyaan give his nod if issues are sorted out remains to be seen.
Vikram's other long delayed project 'Dhruva Natchathiram' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon is all set to release worldwide on Diwali, November 24th. His other much awaited period action entertainer 'Thangalaan' directed by Pa. Ranjith will release on a festive date in mid 2024.
