Soori and Vetrimaaran reunite for new project after 'Viduthalai 2'

Director Vetrimaaran has successfully launched Soori as a hero in his critically acclaimed blockbuster hit movie 'Viduthalai'. The socio political thriller which released in theaters worldwide on March 31st is still holding good at the box office. Expectations are high for 'Viduthalai 2' which Vetrimaaran is planning to shoot for another ten days and release it in a few month's time.
Soori has received high praise for his authentic performance in a serious role in 'Viduthalai' and a number of producers and filmmakers are heading towards him for new projects. He has finished Ram's 'Ezhu Kadal Ezhu Malai' and is currently shooting for 'Kottukaali' produced by Sivakarthikeyan and a film directed by Vikram Sukumaran.
We already broke the news to you that Soori will be starring in a new movie directed by Durai Senthilkumar of 'Kaaki Sattai' and 'Kodi' fame. Now the hot scoop is that Vetrimaaran will be penning the script for this as yet untitled project set in Madurai backdrop.
The filming will begin as soon as Soori and Vetrimaaran finish the pending portions of 'Viduthalai 2'. The reunion of the super successful duo for another movie has excited fans of both. Soori's long time manager K. Kumar is bankrolling and the rest of the details of the cast and crew will be out soon.
