Director Vetrimaaran, who is currently occupied with the filming of 'Viduathalai Part 2', has penned the story for the upcoming movie 'Garudan', which features Soori, Sasikumar, and Unni Mukundan in the lead roles. The film is directed by Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Fivestar Creations, Lark Studios, and Grassroot Film Company.

The team unveiled the release date of this exciting action flick with a racy glimpse video yesterday. 'Garudan' is all set to hit the screens worldwide on May 31st. This project also stars Roshni Haripriyan, Revathy Sarma, Brigida Saga, Samuthirakani, Sshivada, Mime Gopi and others. This film marks the second collaboration of Soori and Vetrimaaran.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical score for the upcoming flick which has cinematography by Arthur K Wilson, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, art direction by Durairaj and stunts by Mahesh Mathew. On the work front, Soori and Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai Part 2' is set to be wrapped up in a few weeks. It will hit the screens later this year.
