Soori one of the top comedians of Tamil cinema is now also acting in lead roles and that too with the topmost directors. He is on the verge of completing 'Viduthalai' directed by Vetrimaaran in which Vijay Sethupathi is playing an important role.

Soori is also shooting for acclaimed director Ram's untitled film costarring Anjali and Nivin Pauly. The hot buzz now is that the affable star has got the opportunity as male lead in director Ameer's new movie as well.

Ameer is planning to resume the shooting of his stalled project 'Santhana Thevan' that has himself sharing screenspace with Arya and his brother Sathya.
