Soori's just released movie Garudan has been well received and is steadily increasing in the box office across the globe.
Garudan is getting close to reaching a major milestone of 50 crore in earnings, according to sources. Notably, this is the first time a comic performer in a major part has made over 50 crore in India. The producer of the movie is apparently still unhappy despite this accomplishment.
The main OTT platforms have already set aside their money for fresh movie purchases this year, which leaves no immediate intentions to buy more movies. Nevertheless, considering the enormous popularity and financial success of the movie, it is expected that an OTT platform would soon obtain the release rights for Garudan.
