Actor Soori who is making heads turn with his acting skills and dedication shared a photo of his father along with an emotional note on his death anniversary which left his fans in tears.

Soori's father Muthusamy passed away on March 27, 2017 due to illness. Yesterday, the actor observed his father's fifth death anniversary and he took to his Twitter handle to share a few memories about his departed father. "Today is the day the branches lost the tree! Like a moustachioed lion walking in the footsteps of our father. Dad's Fifth Anniversary Commemoration!," he wrote.

On the work front, Soori was recently seen on Suriya's 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' He is all set to make his debut as a lead with Vetri Maaran's directorial 'Viduthalai' is slated to release soon, and the actor next has an interesting lineup that includes 'Don', 'Vaadivaasal', 'Viruman'.
