Suriya is currently busy shooting for Pandiraj's 'Etharkum Thunindhavan'. The ET team has been busy shooting the current schedule at a single stretch in Karaikudi in the past month. The Karaikudi schedule will be wrapped by the end of this month. Indiaglitz had already reported that the actor will wrap up shooting for ET by the end of September month.

Actor Soori, who is part of the film's star cast, has celebrated his birthday at the shooting spot of Etharkkum Thunindhavan today. Soori has opened up that he is playing the maternal uncle of the heroine in the film. He said, "EtharkkumThunindhavan will be a thiruvizha in theaters. It'll have Pandiraj sir's trademark family sentiments + action. I'm not doing my typical comedy in ET, and will be pitted against Suriya sir. I play the heroine's thaai mama."

Cooku With Comali fame Pugazh, Tiger Thangadurai and Devadharshini are spotted in the latest shooting spot picture and playing supporting roles in ET. Priyanka Arul Mohan is playing the romantic interest of Suriya in this flick. Apart from them, the star cast of the Etharkkum Thunindhavan boasts Vinay Rai and Priyanka Arul Mohan in lead roles, with Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori and M. S. Bhaskar.

According to sources, a jail scene was filmed recently with Suriya and Sathyaraj. While D Imman is scoring music, the first single release is likely to be dropped soon. Reportedly, nearly 80% of the film's shoot is completed. The filming is progressing in full swing and Etharkkum Thunindhavan is headed to hit the screens within the end of 2021.
