Soori one of the top comedians in Tamil cinema is gearing up for his next movie with Vettrimaaran in which he is playing the hero. The recent clicks of him in six-packs has had fans raving and sources say that the team will begin shooting the project pretty soon in the UAE.

Soori celebrated his birthday yesterday and wishes kept pouring in from all the stars and directors he has worked with. The ace comedian has shared a photo of a cake that his children presented him on his birthday. Written on it instead of the usual "Happy Birthday" is the expenses that they have met to buy the cake which is for the pastry rupees 1500, fuel 500 and decoration 2000. They have demanded that he pay the amount and cut the cake.

Soori in his inimitable style has written in Tamil that his daughter Vennila and son Sharvan have presented him a 400 rupees cake and extracted 4000 rupees from him. Apart from the Vetrimaaran project, the affable star is also playing a pivotal role in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures.
