Suriya's most awaited upcoming film 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara is jointly produced by Suriya himself and Guneet Monga who owns the Bollywood production house Sikhya Entertainment. Guneet Monga has made an urgent help on Twitter for her friends and has written "A dear friend & his family have all been tested Covid positive. His parents are old & his mother already fighting an existing illness. A huge request - We need 3 hospital beds in a private hospital in Kalyan Dombivali area. Please share Please help @AUThackeray". Hopefully, those affected would get a speedy help from the authorities.

Guneet Monga has produced several hit films Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1, Peddlers, The Lunchbox, Masaan, and Zubaan. Her 2018 production 'Period. End of Sentence' won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject.

Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of Captain G.R. Gopinath has music score by GVP and stars Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal.
