Actor Suriya, who was last seen on screen in KV Anand's Kaappaan is getting ready for the release of his next movie Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by his own 2D Entertainment banner.

The movie, which is inspired by the life of GR Vishwanath, the founder of Air Deccan also stars Aparna Balamurugan, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and was supposed to release in summer, but has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Soorarai Pottru has music by GV Prakash, and the team has released Veyyon Silli, Mannurunda and Maara theme songs from the album, and now it has been revealed that Arunraja Kamaraj, the director of Kanaa, also a lyricist and actor has written a motivational song in the movie. Arunraja Kamaraj is next directing a movie with Udhayanidhi Stalin reportedly.
