Suriya's 2D Entertainment has made it official that 'Soorarai Potru' has been censored and the CBFC has awarded it a clean U certificate. The company has also hinted "Our Maara is ready for action" suggesting an early release date.
'Soorarai Pottru' is based on a rag to riches tale capturing Suriya's character Maara's rise from a youngster to a sky-high achiever. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara with music score by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal in the cast.
