Sony's grand plans for 'Kochadaiyaan'

Sony Music Entertainment has bagged the audio rights of Superstar Rajinikanth's magnum opus 'Kochadaiyaan', which has music by A R Rahman, for an undisclosed price.

Confirming the development, Ashok Parwani, associate director - marketing, Sony Music Entertainment, said, We are extremely excited to be associated with one of the biggest projects that not only appeals to the audiences in the south but to fans all over the world. With such an incredible star cast and India's best music director, the movie positions itself to be a wholesome entertainer.

Parwani added: This is a very special project for us and we will weave in innovative marketing elements into the campaign to connect with the youth and the fans at large.

The audio launch will take place in Tokyo soon, with Rajini and Rahman taking part in the function. In the meantime, director Soundarya R Ashwin is said to be giving finishing touches to 'Kochadaiyaan'.
