Sony Music works wonders in promotion!

The music label, which has stormed the audio sales scene, ever since its grand entry with ‘Dasavatharam’, is on a signing spree now.

Take a look at all of our recent superhit songs, from ‘Dasavatharam’ to ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’, ‘Naadodigal’, ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and ‘Kanthaswamy’ you’ll find this international label to be producing it.

They’re the best when it comes to audio promotion, as Goutham Menon acknowledged with happiness, when his ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ was released through their label. Known for their exclusive means to promote their songs, be it on radio or through aggressive CD sales, Sony Music is a class apart.

Their marketing skills came to the fore once again, yesterday, when they organised for fans who bought ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ CDs to have them autographed by the music composing duo, Hariharan and Leslie Lewis themselves. With the film hitting screens today, and this promotion venture held at the nick of time, there’s bound to be an increase in sales from today. That’s music promotion, Sony style.
