Shruti Hariharan, a Kollywood actress, has accused 'Action King' Arjun of sexually misbehaving with her on the sets of a film in 2016. The actor has since denied the accusations, saying that he was never accused this way by any of the 60-70 heroines he worked with. "These actresses not only respect me but also keep in touch with me," Arjun said in a statement.
Sony Charishta, a co-star of Arjun in one of his movies, has issued a statement supporting the acotr. "I have worked with Mr Arjun Sarja in 'Kontract' movie (yet to be released) and I know the kind of person he is. He is a thorough professional when it comes to work and I don't believe in the allegations levelled against him. He respects women and can never do any kind of activity that can be uncomfortable to a lady. This is my honest opinion and all my support to Arjun Sarja Sir at this stage," she said.
On his part, Arjun is reportedly mooting legal action against Shruti.
