Sonu Sood to fund liver surgeries to save child lives

Sonu Sood’s Sood Foundation has collaborated with a private corporate hospital to save the lives of children affected by life-threatening liver diseases. On Tuesday, the actor and serial philanthropist announced the initiative. 

“Everyone deserves a Second Chance. Launching Pediatric Liver Surgeries. Let’s Save our ‘Little Ones’,” he tweeted, marking World Liver Day.

Liver diseases entail huge costs, exceeding even complex heart surgeries. It’s pertinent that philanthropists come forward to fund liver-related treatment. Sonu Sood has done the right thing. Sood Foundation is expected to approach this crucial intervention in the charity works by apportioning funds in an optimal manner. Learned people are involved in the process, it seems. 

He will soon be seen in a major role in ‘Acharya’. The April 29th release stars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the lead. Sonu Sood has got scenes with the father-son duo. Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Acharya’ is expected to have the ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Arundhati’ actor in effective, heavy scenes. His fans are expecting a lot from him this time.
