Since last few years, actor Sonu Sood has been very active in Tamil and Telugu cinema. In fact apart from 'Samrat Prithviraj', he has only worked in South Indian films since the year 2018. In a recent media conversation, Sonu shared that he loves to explore new and unique projects across different languages and industries. Before making his Bollywood debut in 2002, Sonu was already an established actor down South.

According to a recent report in ETimes, he stated, "I started my journey in showbiz from south. I have done many movies down south in languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. I always believe that entertainment has no language. As an actor you just have to keep on exploring working with different directors and languages, that is how you grow as an actor."

Sonu concluded by saying, "That’s what I have been trying to do over the years. I am glad that suddenly south cinema is loved by everyone, globally! I am happy that people are accepting these movies and the ideas."

Sonu Sood's upcoming projects include 'Thamilarasan' and 'Fateh'.
