Sonu Sood is in the news for responding to an SOS raised by Tollywood director Meher Ramesh. Going into details, the 'Billa' and 'Sakthi' director had requested Sonu Sood to help him in finding medicines to treat a Covid-19 positive patient by the name of P Venkata Ramana in Hyderabad.

The humanitarian 'Arundhati' actor's team immediately responded to the appeal. He promised to deliver every single medicine to the needy. It's learned that the 'Dookudu' and 'Acharya' actor has delivered on his promise already. The medicines were delivered to Meher Ramesh in time. The filmmaker profusely thanked Sonu Sood for arranging the prescribed medicines in less than 24 hours.

On the work front, Ramesh is scheduled to direct the Telugu remake of 'Vedhalam' with Chiranjeevi in the lead. Given the current situation, it will go on the floors in 2022 perhaps.

As for Sonu Sood, his team recently saved 22 lives in a Bengaluru hospital by supplying 16 oxygen cylinders overnight.
