Ever since Sonu Sood started doing the philanthropic work to help people suffering from the pandemic in any form, people started calling him a savior or messiah. His passion to make things better for victims of the pandemic and sheer hardwork has led people to think that he should be given the charge of whole country. Like several other celebrities, Huma Qureshi also thinks that Sonu Sood should be made prime minister of the country.

However, Sonu doesn't share the same sentiment as her. He said, "Yeh thoda zyada ho gaya (this is a bit too much). It’s very kind of her to say this. If she thinks I deserve this honour then I must say I must have done something good. However I don’t agree with her. I think we’ve a very capable prime minister. “

He added, "I think I’m too young to shoulder such a responsibility. Yes, I know Rajiv Gandhiji became prime minister at 40. But those were very special circumstances. And he came from a family of distinguished politicians whereas I’ve no experience."
