Covid-19 has shattered the healthcare system throughout the nation. There is shortage of oxygen and medical supplies in hospitals and we are taking help from other nation to battle the crisis. Amidst this chaos, actor Sonu Sood called China as they seemed to be blocking the consignment of medical supplies which is too essential for us at the moment. Sonu wrote, "We are trying to get hundreds of oxygen concentrators to India. It’s sad to say that China has blocked lots of our consignments and here in India we are losing lives every minute. I request @China_Amb_India @MFA_China to help us get our consignments cleared so we can save lives.”

The Chinese ambassador, Sun Weidong soon took a notice of this and responded to Sonu's tweet. He wrote, "@SonuSood Noted your twitter info. Mr. Sood. China will do its utmost to support India fighting Covid-19. To my knowledge, freight air routes from China to India are operating normally. The past two weeks have witnessed 61 freight flights from China to India in operation. We’ve provided convenience in customs clearance & transportation for India to transport medical supplies from cities in China." He further went on to ensure that the country is ensuring a smooth export of the necessary supplies.

Ever since the inception of this pandemic, Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly to help people who are badly affected by the crisis.
