Demise of one's parents is one of the biggest emotional blows that a person can think of. Those who have suffered it have endured one of the worst phases of life and those who haven't, don't like to think about it. However, actor Sonu Sood believes that his parents passed at the right time. This may sound cold hearted coming from him but he's quite glad that his parents aren't here to witness what the world is going through right now.

Since the very beginning of pandemic, Sonu has transformed himself into a philanthropist. While other stars are worrying about their upcoming movies, Sonu is trying his best to arrange medical supplies and other facilities to make things easier for Covid patients. He has been helping hospitals and organisations with the logistics and patients throughout the country are availing his help in locating beds or arranging for oxygen cylinders.

His helpling nature is a trait he acquired from his father, who used to distribute food to the needy outside their shop in Punjab. His mother also used to teach underprivileged children for free.

Sonu Sood shared that it'd have broke him if he had to see his parents struggling for a bed or an oxygen cylinder.
