Star creators maiden venture 'Varasdhara' produced by B.P.Srinivas and Arunkumar has completed a major schedule in the northern part of Karnataka. 12 days schedule at the historically important places Badami and Pattadkallu featuring Sandeep and Ashwini with the help of 30 dancers 'O Jeeva O Jeeva' song portion was shot. Later traveling to the border of Karnataka Belgaum in some of the new locations, another song and talkie portions were shot on the same pair of the film. The college scenes were shot at Belgaum for two days by debutant director Gurudeshpande. Mohan Mugudeshwaran is the cameraman of this film.

95 percent of the shooting has been completed so far says the director. The firebrand editor of 'Hai Bangalore' Ravi Belegere is appearing in the title role of this film. Dattanna, Sadashiva Brahmavar, Navanith Srinivas, Dilip, Venkatappa, Anu, Master Kiran, B.P.Srinivas are in the cast.

Rajesh Ramanath the 100 plus music director has scored the music for the lyrics provided by Jayanth Kaikini and Kaviraj.
