The mood of the song is spirited, evoking a sense of story-telling by someone unconcerned with the protagonists of the number. In conveying this feel, lyricist Pulagam Chinnarayana comes out with flying colours, deploying an enjoyable and rooted-in-the-story language.
Music director Vasuki Vaibhav borrows notes from the pub numbers of a bygone era. Telugu cinema threw up such numbers in the 1980s in good numbers. Singers Sangeetha Katti, Pooja, Pranav, Karthik, and Brunda do a fine job in lending the number a lazy feel.
'Aatagadharaa Siva', directed by Aa Naluguru's Chandra Siddhartha, tells the story of a convicted man condemned to be hanged to death and how he meets his hangman after escaping from the jail. Doddanna and Uday are the main members of the cast. The drama will hit the screens on July 14.
