This song from 'C/o Surya', music-directed by D Imman, has both a Tamilesque touch and yet a distinct universal appeal. Such is the legacy of the Ilaiyaraaja influence perhaps.

When Shreya Ghoshal is around, you can be forgiven for being lost for an alternative. Her mesmerizing vocals make this melody all the more sublime. Pradeep Kumar's genius strikes the right chord, giving Shreya's lovely voice a fabulous match.

Ananth Sriram, who hasn't been writing too many songs of late, gifts us with some of the best-written lines. In terms of the simplicity of language, this song has a parallel in 'Emantaro' ('Gudumba Shankar'). And in terms of the lyrical depth that it boasts of, Ananth sounds quite original.

Directed by Suseenthiran, the Telugu-Tamil film stars Sundeep Kishan and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles.
