Song Review: Chiniki Chiniki (Naa Nuvve)

Ananta Sriram's lyrics are original to the core.  Lines like 'Maaya marupey musirindhi manalanu, haayi merupey therichindi kanulanu' evocatively tell the no-holds-barred mindset of the lovers finding liberation in romance.

Sharreth prefers a tempo that keeps pace with the graph of the lead pair's mindset.  As lyrics become more intense, so does the pitch of the number.  Thus, the highs and lows (musically) are purposive.   Saptaparna Chakraborty's voice sets the tone for this romantic number.  And Karthik's mirthful voice complements his female counterpart's talent.

As the song's video promo shows, Brindha's choreography is inventive.  'Naa Nuvve', directed by Jayendra, will hit the screens later this month.  Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is paired up with Tamannaah Bhatia in this coming-of-age romance.
