The good thing about the song is that Devi Sri Prasad tries to tread a different path (though not original) and succeeds to an extent. Rendered by MM Manasi to an offbeat effect (her voice is typically apt for the raw vibes that some Tamil movies have), the number comes with chaste Telugu lyrics by the redoubtable Srimani. Conceived as a song where the lover girl sings within herself addressing her man, this one makes for a worthy listen and a montage affair.

'Saamy', the Telugu version of Chiyaan Vikram's 'Saamy Square', has been written and directed by Hari, the film is a cop actioner. Keerthy Suresh is the heroine. Bobby Simha, Soori, Prabhu, John Vijay, Ishwarya and others are part of the cast. The cinematography is by Venkatesh Anguraj.
