Sonarika Bharodia kickstarts pre wedding celebrations

Sonarika Bhadoria, a prominent figure in the television industry, needs no introduction. She rose to prominence with her stellar performance as ‘Parvati’ in the acclaimed series Devon Ka Dev Mahadev. The enchanting moments from the Mata Ki Chowki, where Sonarika and Vikas radiantly twinned in red outfits, warmed the hearts of their well-wishers. Sonarika’s attire, a maroon embellished anarkali with intricate prints, paired with a striking diamond necklace adorned with green stones, showcased elegance reminiscent of her roka ceremony in December 2022. Complementing her ensemble were matching earrings, subtle makeup, and a middle-parted hairstyle.

Mata Ki Chowki, a ceremonial event steeped in tradition, is observed during auspicious occasions like weddings and birthdays. It involves devotional singing, dancing, and puja offerings. Sonarika Bhadoria’s social media updates featured glimpses of the event, including the presence of her friend Arti Singh.

Expressing her joy, Sonarika shared, “The Mata Ki Chowki marked the initiation of our marriage rituals. It felt like a reception to me, as it was the sole event we had in Mumbai. Having close friends and family on this auspicious day made us feel incredibly loved.” She emphasized the significance of receiving Mata’s blessings, stating, “The atmosphere was amazing as we danced wholeheartedly in front of Devi Maa, seeking her blessings for a healthy and successful beginning to the new phase in Vikas’ and my life.”

Looking ahead, Sonarika Bhadoria disclosed her wedding date, set for February 18, 2024, with a five-day celebration featuring the Mayra ritual, haldi, and a cocktail-cum-sangeet ceremony.

On the professional front, Sonarika’s diverse career spans Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films, including Saansein, Hindutva, Indrajith, and Jadoogadu. Her television journey began in 2011 with Tum Dena Saath Mera, and she gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Parvati in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev.
