Dhanush’s Bollywood debut film ‘Raanjhanaa’ has hit success at the box office, earning a splendid 68 crore net worldwide within two weeks of its release. Reportedly, ‘Ambikapathy’, the Tamil version of the film released across 300 screens in India last Friday and has grossed an impressive Rs. 2.95 crore at the box office during the opening weekend with a net collection of Rs. 2.05 crore.

Having enjoyed a great deal while shooting for ‘Raanjhanaa’ co-stars Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor seem to have developed a good rapport and become thick friends. While the National Award winning actor appreciates Sonam to be great and helpful co-star, the actress is in awe with Dhanush’s acting prowess. In fact, Sonam is looking forward to his next film, that is in Tamil – ‘Mariyaan’.

Sharing her excitement over the actor, Sonam yesterday posted on her micro-blogging site – “Dhanush you are the best!! Can't wait for maariyaan!!”

Directed by Bharat Bala, ‘Mariyaan’ which is slated to release this month (July) has Parvathi Menon opposite Dhanush.
