Sonam Kapoor starts Neerja Bhanot's journey

Only recently Fox Star Studios released the first look of their next film titled 'Neerja' - which had lead Sonam Kapoor in a comics version. Of late, the film went on floors and the actress shared about it via Twitter thus, "Day 1 of #NeerajBhanot thank you @foxstarhindi and @BlingLive for making this possible... Let the journey begin! #nerves #excitement #humbled."

To be directed by Ram Madhvani, the film is a biopic on Neerja Bhanot, the flight attendant of the infamous 1986 plane hijack. Neerja showed extreme bravery in saving passengers' lives from terrorists, however lost hers in the process.

Incidentally, Neerja is known to be the youngest recipient of Ashok Chakra, India's highest civilian award for bravery.
