‘When in Rome be a Roman...’ - goes the saying... But there are few places in India, like Varanasi, which grows on you and you tend to follow its rituals willingly.

Sonam Kapoor is currently shooting for ‘Raanjhnaa’ along with Dhanush in the peaceful and holy locales of Varanasi. And heard that the pretty, talented fashionista is hooked on to the spiritual ambience there.

According to sources, Sonam has now got into the habit of attending the first aarti in the morning on the Varanasi ghat.

She often does this when she is not shooting too early in the day. While she will get prasad for her film’s crew, at the same time Sonam gets to learn few things for her character by interacting with the locals.

Hmmm mixing work with spirituality...

Sources added that Sonam had been missing home for some time, since this is incidentally first time she is working on real locations; leaving behind all the luxuries.

And so in order to make their daughter to give some homely feelings, papa Anil Kapoor and mom said to had visited Sonam over the weekend.
