Sonam Kapoor as 'Angry Bird'

Bollywood's fashion diva has been chosen for 'Champions for Earth Week', a week-long global gaming tournament hosted in association with Earth Day Network.

As per media sources, Sonam Kapoor is the first Indian celebrity to be a part of 'Angry Birds Friends'. The 'Khoobsurat' actress will turn into an animated avatar along with other celebrities namely Shakira, Ian Somerhalder and Danny DeVitto among others for the game event.

Feeling quite excited over this opportunity, Sonam was quoted in an interview that the "Champions for Earth video is beautiful and the team has done a fantastic job with their designing of the bird." Since she is ardent player of Angry Birds, Sonam said that she is happy to be a part of it in the Champion Week.

To be commencing from 21st September 2015, the game event will be celebrated along with the United Nations Climate Change Week.
