Social media has given people the power to criticize anyone they wish from the comfort of their home. Celebs are usually the most affected victims of such trolls. The recent example is actress Sonam Kapoor who got brutally trolled for her comments about living in London and enjoying the freedom there. Apparantly, Sonam has a house in London as well where she often spends time with her husband.

About living in London, the actress said, "I like the freedom here. I make my own food, clean my own space, shop for my own groceries.” She also talked about how emotionally taxing the pandemic was for her. She said, "Friends have lost their parents. Young people have passed away, people I know. I didn’t sleep for a month. I love living here, but India is where my heart is.”

Soon after these statements, Sonam was trolled by netizens who called out her privileges and expressed that she could've done all her chores living in India as well and nobody forces her to recruit house helps for them. Although Sonam's statement wasn't all wise but the trolling shows us how free and aimless youngsters of this country are who can take out time for stuff like this.
