Sonakshi Sinha married Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday in a small ceremony at her flat in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple threw a big reception at Bastian in Dadar following the civil wedding. For the event, the newlyweds were tastefully attired. While Zaheer looked great in a white kurta combination, Sonakshi wowed in a gorgeous red saree, matched by sindoor and traditional red chooma bangles. Happy smiling for the cameras, the pair arrived at the reception hand-in-hand.

"On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017), in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it," Sonakshi wrote in a sincere note accompanying the wedding pictures. According to IANS, the pair registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act and had their civil ceremony at Sonakshi's new flat, 81 Aureate, next to the RangSharda Auditorium in Bandra West.

Sonakshi's father, Shatrughan Sinha, said he was happy following the wedding, "Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom.
