Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who recently completed 12 years of her Bollywood journey, has a bunch of very exciting films under production. These include 'Dahaad', 'Nikita Roy', 'Double XL', 'Kakuda' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Heera Mandi'. In a recent media interaction, Sonakshi opened up about these projects in brief.
In 'Nikita Roy', the actress will be seen collaborating with her brother Kussh Sinha. Talking about that she said, "That’s a film my brother and I connected with instantly. I have enjoyed working with him." Sonakshi then went on to talk about 'Dahaad'. She said, “I’ve had a lot of fun playing a cop in Dahaad. It’s been the most enjoyable role of my life. Why should boys have all the fun? I’ve been in films where the male lead opposite me played a cop. Now, I’m playing one - she’s a really strong person and a fabulous character. When I got a chance, I just didn’t want to pass it on."
The actress continued, "I also worked on Kakuda, a horror comedy that taught me so much about how horror films are crafted. Of course, I’m still pretty scared and don’t watch horror films. I am quite a chicken but I did that film. It gave me so much perspective."
Sonakshi concluded by saying, "And then, there is Double XL which hits home so hard. I have grown up as a large-sized girl. The film has a lovely message and everyone will find it relatable. As I move ahead in life, the only thing I want to keeping doing is picking things I’ve never done before.”
